Across the globe, reparations movements are confronting the enduring legacies of colonialism, enslavement, and the transatlantic slave trade. These movements demand redress for historical injustices and the ongoing impacts of structural racism, inequality, and systemic rights violations rooted in these crimes against humanity.
To advance a shared global agenda for reparative justice—grounded in political action, collective power, and a decolonial approach—unity is essential.
This event will spotlight the Global Reparations Hub, a new platform led by grassroots movements of People of African Descent (PAD), supported by Human Rights Watch. The Hub serves as a collaborative space to connect social movements, strengthen advocacy, and build a united global front for reparations.
Join us as leading voices in the movement discuss the critical importance of cross-regional solidarity and the collective pursuit of reparative justice.
