Black and Blue: Police in Our Streets – For Whom and Why?

On April 27, 2023, several of our guests were victims of police brutality—a harsh reminder of the impunity and repressive systems that persist worldwide. But why does this violence continue? And who is truly being protected by the police?

On April 29, 2025, join us for a two-hour event where we will examine the history of police violence and discuss possible solutions. Together with our speakers, activists, and experts, we will explore both historical and contemporary police repression—especially in Europe, the Americas, and Africa.

Who is the police meant to protect? And why, despite promises of safety, does violence continue to affect Black communities?

This event is an invitation to understand, to ask questions, and to imagine alternatives. Join an essential conversation about justice, equality, and the reforms our policing systems so urgently need.

Join us on April 29, 2025, and speak out with us for a more just future.
