What is it about?
After the success of the first Scholarship Fair in November 2018, the second Black Study and Scholarship Fair will now take place in Berlin. The goal is to make access to higher education more transparent and accessible for young Black people. Prospective students and students of African descent will have the opportunity to receive information about study financing and experiences at booths, exchange ideas and network in open spaces and workshops, and gain valuable insights from a panel discussion.

For whom?
As the successor to the successful Study and Scholarship Day in November 2018, we are once again specifically targeting young people of African and Afro-diasporic descent with this study fair concept. One of the biggest challenges for Black communities in Germany is the lack of targeted study funding to facilitate access to higher education for young Black people. BLACKADEMIA aims to address this issue and offer students, prospective students, and students of African descent a study and scholarship fair tailored to their specific challenges.

Registration and Program:
The detailed program will be provided upon registration. Registration is free and is conducted via Eventbrite. An awareness team will be present on-site. Please indicate any required services, such as translation (German Sign Language, English), childcare, or travel cost reimbursement, in the registration form.
