Black Academy is proud to take part in “The Table of Nations” on May 10, 2025, from 12:00 PM, an event organized by the Reiss-Engelhorn Museums (REM) in partnership with the City of Mannheim.

This vibrant festival celebrates Mannheim’s cultural and culinary diversity, with over 30 stands showcasing traditional dishes from the home countries of participating cultural associations.

At our stand, we will highlight African and Afro-diasporic cultures through stories, educational materials, and a culinary specialty from Benin: Abobo with Dja and Gari.
It’s a great opportunity to meet our team, discover our current projects, and engage in meaningful conversations about our commitment to a more diverse and inclusive society.

Throughout the day, enjoy a dynamic program featuring live music, world dances, children’s activities, and discounted entry to the “Food and Drink” exhibition for adults. Entry is free for children.
