Call for applications for the project ”Understanding, Preserving, Empowering: History and Culture of the Afro-Diaspora Worldwide” (Deadline 20.01.2025)

Are you interested in the history and culture of Afro-diasporic communities and would you like to contribute to making these perspectives visible?

The Black Academy initiative gives you the chance to put your knowledge of post-colonial approaches and empirical research into practice. Together with the two German associations Meine Welt e.V. and PLACE e.V. as well as the organization PLACE for Africa in Benin, you can make a contribution to political education and help develop creative, discrimination-sensitive educational materials. In this way, you can become part of a global network that is committed to sustainable development and the visibility of Afrocentric narratives. Then apply for an ASA scholarship now! Follow the link to the application platform here: https://asa.engagement-global.de/projekt-details.html?id=1102%20&tp=83&srch=Recherche%20de%20projet

The ASA program offers you:
✔ three to six-month projects with partners worldwide,
✔ a scholarship for traveling and living expenses,
✔ seminars on development policy and project management,
✔ international exchange and project experience,
✔ commitment even after participation.

Apply by January 20, 2025 and start your experience abroad here.
