The Black Academy supports « Twin your Diversität » project and celebrates Diversity in Mannheim

The Black Academy is proud to have contributed to the success of the « Twin your Diversity » project by offering its unwavering support and playing an active role in the implementation of the project’s activities. This innovative project aims to enhance diversity and inclusion in Mannheim, highlighting youth initiatives that promote living together harmoniously.

We have supported this project throughout its journey, particularly in mobilizing and mentoring the young participants (« Twins ») and assisting in organizing the closing event, which took place on August 24, 2024, at Kunsthalle Friedrichsplatz 4, Mannheim. The closing event, which brought together around a hundred people, was a significant moment celebrated with a rich and diverse program. Musical performances, inspiring speeches, and interactive discussions highlighted the ideas and achievements of the young participants. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this event a success.

The « Twin your Diversity » project not only raised awareness about the importance of diversity but also created concrete opportunities for the youth of Mannheim to actively engage in their community. This project is done for the congress of the Council of Europe and it is a youth delegate project Afia Mansoor Ahmed. We are honored to have supported this initiative and are excited about the prospects it opens up for the future.
