Sociologist who studied at the Max Weber Institute of Sociology in Heidelberg, Germany. He continued his studies in social sciences at the University of Osnabrück. During his master’s studies at Osnabrück, he did research for his dissertation on the fight against child labour. As part of his fieldwork, with a strong focus on crafts as a trade of the future in Africa, he interviewed numerous stakeholders and carried out participatory observations. Mickael Houngbedji works extensively on the subjects of interdependence and the decolonisation of Africa.
