PLACE e.V. and MeineWelt e.V. in cooperation with ADNA for Agreement and Empowerment e.V. initiate the Black History Month meets Black Academy in Mannheim through a storytelling workshop on April 1, 2023 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (German time). If you are outside of Germany, we would like to draw your attention to the time difference in your respective countries. This will be 10am-1pm from Benin, Cameroon for example. The event aims to make visible the innovative skills and initiatives of black people that bring historical social changes to the erroneous narratives about black people to strengthen networking in the city of Mannheim and beyond. At the end of the implementation, the workshop will change the narrative about Black people.
We are therefore pleased to invite you to this event, which will take place in a hybrid format on Zoom and in person at U3-13, 68161 Mannheim. We encourage each participant to come with an initiative, project, or image of a Black person that has impacted him/her and that he/she would like to share with the other participants
