Burkin Poogs Banem Yele

Within the framework of the Mínɔ̀ project initiated by PLACE for Africa on the empowerment, project management and entrepreneurship of African women, we Burkinbi consisting of 14 young girls beneficiaries of this project had the idea to organize a training session whose theme is “Role of women in the search and maintenance of peace in Burkina Faso” .

In view of the security context in our country, we believe that women should be more involved in conflict resolution. Therefore, our project “Burkin Poogs Banem Yele” aims at equipping women and strengthening their capacities on their role in the research and maintenance of peace. This project refers to the UN resolution 1325 which recognizes the impact of armed conflict on women and girls and works for their protection and full participation in peace agreements. The workshop will be held in Ouagadougou at Wakatt Lab on September 17, 2022.
